Paros Island features many beautiful attractions. But there are three of them which you should not miss while being on our island. Of course if you are visiting Paros for many days, you can see much more of them. The most important attractions are Panagia Ekatonapiliani church, Kolymbithres Beach and Naoussa Village.

Panagia Ekatonapiliani

This is an ornament of Paros Island. Panagia Ekatonapiliani is one of the oldest churches in Greece. It dates back to 326 A.D. It is also one of the first Christian churches in Greece. Its name was born from the 99 doors of the structure. According to the legend, the last one, which is the 100ed, will be found after unlocking a secret door in Agia Sofia in Constantinople. It is located in Parikia, the capital of Paros. You will find it in the main square across the port. This attraction is really worth your time. Due to its location, near the Old Town and Livadia Beach, you can do many things after visiting it. There are many restaurants and cafeterias nearby.

Kolymbithres Beach

Kolymbithres it is not a man-made attraction. It is nature’s creation. Kolymbithres Beach is situated in Naoussa Bay. It consists of rocky sculptures which were created by erosion. Kolymbithres is one of the most impressive beaches in the Aegean Sea. Among the rocks you will find two sandy and organized beaches. You should also know that there are small gems, where you can relax and use them as your private beach. To reach Kolymbithres, you can use fishing boats from Naoussa, transformed to transfer people. Those are the famous caique boats. This is the most memorable way to go to the beach.

Naoussa Village

You definitely can call this one of attraction of Paros Island. Naoussa Village is one of the most beautiful places in Greece. It features beautiful alleys, unique small harbor with its Venetian Fortress and many traditional restaurants. You will have the opportunity to try delicious seafood dishes right next to the fishing boats. In Naoussa the alleys are getting crowded just before the sunset, as the village attracts visitors from all over the island. You should go there too and spend few hours in this beautiful place. As we mentioned before, from Naoussa you can take caique boat for many beaches located in Naoussa Bay. Those are Monastiri Beach, Kolymbithres etc.
